She graduated from the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts, Department of Architecture, with a master’s degree. After working in the field of architecture for many years, she started painting during her retirement.
After working for a few years in the art workshop, she established with a group of artist friends, she established his own workshop and continued her painting works independently.
She participated in art fairs in Istanbul and Izmir from time to time for more than twenty years. She took part in group exhibitions. She opened solo painting exhibitions.
Her works were watched with interest by art lovers and were included in collections.
The starting point of her works is the subconscious expression of her emotions such as sadness, pain, and rebellion, in an abstract, figurative style, reflected by the problems of women living in her country and in the developing countries of the world, and their experiences being women and seen as second-class citizens.
The artist spontaneously reflects her inner voice on the canvas through lines and colors, without going through any design process.
Hale Ozansoy says, “I wanted to speak out with my art against the injustice, discrimination and brutality suffered by women in every corner of our planet.”
